Allysen Bush

Allysen joined Lane Veterinary in August 2025 and has been passionate about animal care since childhood. After realizing she could turn that passion into a career, she shifted from studying human psychology to veterinary medicine and found her true calling. She enjoys the constant learning that comes with her role and appreciates the clinic’s gentle, fear-free approach to patient care. The most rewarding part of her work is building small bonds with the pets she helps, especially when she can ease their stress during appointments.
At home, Allysen enjoys life with her boyfriend, Rob, and their pets: Moose (“Moosetopher Simon”), a brindle supermutt with a love for disc-golf discs, and Friday (“Friday Louise”), a spotted tabby who insists on “fancy water” from the bathroom sink.
In her free time, she enjoys playing and being Dungeon Master in Dungeons & Dragons, crocheting, reading the Empyrean series, exploring local coffee shops, and teaching fun new things to Moose and Friday.
