Trevor Lewandowski

A lifelong animal lover with a deep interest in science and the natural world, Dr. Lewandowski always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. That passion led him to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He later completed an Emergency and Critical Care Internship with Premier Veterinary Group and is certified by NAVC in a practical approach to orthopedic surgery.

At Lane Veterinary, Dr. Lewandowski values the collaborative, veterinarian-owned atmosphere and is especially eager to continue developing his surgical expertise under the mentorship of Dr. Weber while expanding his medical knowledge with Dr. Baker. He places great importance on building lasting relationships with pet owners based on trust, respect, and education, helping clients make confident decisions for their pets’ care.The most fulfilling part of his work is seeing critically ill pets recover and return home healthy and happy. Helping animals get a second chance with their families brings him lasting purpose and pride.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Lewandowski enjoys life with his fiancée, Emmalina, and their two pets: Pickles, a Q-tip-loving domestic short hair cat, and Juniper, a pitbull mix and registered gluten-detection service dog. Together, they love hiking and exploring national parks. In his free time, he also enjoys powerlifting, playing guitar, and performing at open mic nights.
