Canine Massage Therapy in Hindsale, IL
Pet massage is advanced soft tissue work that improves the way muscles, joints and organs function. It’s best used for improving mobility, reducing pain and facilitating the body’s natural healing ability. In addition to massage sessions being a wonderful way to maintain a strong immune system and shorten recovery times after anesthesia, it’s also highly beneficial in restoring balance to gut issues and allergies.

What to Expect During and After A Massage Session
After baseline palpation locates areas of concern, Kristina will share findings with you. Typical massage sessions are 20 minutes in length. This allows for the pet's body to assimilate the changes made to the tissues. The work is gentle, precise and effective.
Improvements can be seen as soon as same day, but more significant changes can be witnessed within 2-4 appointments. Pets tend to be sleepy after a session. Allowing 24 hours before returning to vigorous activity is strongly recommended. Although quite uncommon, it is rare for a pet to experience minor soreness after soft tissue work but is temporary.
Massage is not recommended for pets with active infections, specific health diagnosis or bleeding disorders.
